Acorns Children's Hospice are looking for a Clinical Systems & Data Analyst to maximise the value of our clinical systems and data to support high-quality care.  You will work closely with the Senior Data and Clinical Systems Lead to develop and optimise the management of SystmOne and other systems, ensuring the needs of the clinical and operational services are met.

As a Clinical Systems & Data Analyst you will:

  • Analyse and report on clinical and operational data, producing clear reports, dashboards and insights that help teams monitor performance, identify trends and make informed decisions.
  • Support and develop our clinical systems, including SystmOne, helping to configure and test improvements, troubleshoot issues and identify ways to improve processes, data capture and the user experience.
  • Maintain high standards of data quality and governance, supporting accurate and consistent record keeping, performance monitoring, regulatory reporting and compliance with information governance requirements.
  • Work closely with colleagues across Acorns, providing training and system support, understanding their data and digital needs, and using your expertise to support continuous improvement across our services.

About You

  • Level 3 qualification (or equivalent experience) in Business Management, Health, Social Care, Data/Analytics or another relevant field
  • Experience of working with data within a healthcare, social care, charity or education environment
  • Experience supporting development, configuration or optimisation of SystmOne functionality
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills (including using formulas, data validation, charts & reporting)
  • Able to train and support users in the effective use of clinical and digital systems

You need to be eligible to work in the UK to be considered for this role. We are committed to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults and therefore any successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check for children and will be asked to provide two satisfactory references. In addition, candidates will be asked to provide evidence of immunisation against specific diseases or confirm their willingness to receive the necessary vaccinations.
