Marketing Coordinator

Acorns Children's Hospice are now looking for a Marketing Coordinator support the development of and provide the delivery of effective marketing activities.

About the role

As a Marketing Coordinator you'll be supporting creative/content development - leading on the update and refresh of existing campaign collateral ensuring high quality design and copy that reflects the Acorns brand, values and tone of voice and adheres to regulatory requirements timeliness, quality and cost effectiveness. You'll be researching new and innovative ideas and monitoring new advances, other marketing/charity/fundraising activities to capture, share and implement best practice. You will be delivering all work accurately ensuring materials are fully edited, proof read, and signed off by relevant product and business owners. Furthermore you will contribute  to ad hoc campaign wash-ups reports, highlighting successes and key learning, key outcomes and metrics against predetermined goals and objectives as required.

About you

You will have excellent administrative and organization skills and have the ability to work under pressure and to negotiate with suppliers e.g. print and advertising. You will have experience of working with a variety of online and offline marketing communications tools and will have a highly creative eye for design, some level of graphic design / Adobe Creative Suite experience and skill is required.

  • Up to £25,000 annum
  • 37 hours per week
  • Location Drakes Court (B47 6JR) minimum of 1 day per week/Home working – majority of the time/Some requirement to be able to travel to Acorns retail charity shops across the West Midlands region (Driving license preferable, or commitment to use public transport if not)

You need to be eligible to work in the UK to be considered for this role. We are committed to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults and therefore any successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check for children and will be asked to provide two satisfactory references.
