Acorns Children's Hospice Trust are excited to recruit for a brand-new role within their Fundraising team – Product Innovation Development Manager (Fundraising Manager). This role will develop and deliver a pipeline of new fundraising products and propositions.
About the Role
Acorns is currently the UK’s largest children’s hospice charity, in terms of both numbers of children and families supported, and annual expenditure on our care work. We need to raise more than £10 million each year to run and support our care services. As Product Innovation Development Manager, you will support this fundraising by developing a strategic innovation programme to deliver more customer engagement and fundraising income.
As Product Innovation Development Manager, you’ll use your creativity skills to develop and deliver audience-focused, insight-driven fundraising products. You’ll help our fundraising teams to create business models, assess the viability of ideas and plan the development of them. You’ll work collaboratively across the wider teams to support innovation processes, whether that’s through trying something new, challenging a current way of working, suggesting changes, or developing/extending an existing product of theirs.
About You
You will have experience in product development and of developing creative and engaging products. You will have experience of conducting research, developing testing delivery plans and know how to use data to evaluate outcomes.
You’ll have the ability to manage multiple projects, identify conflicting demands and establish clear priorities to meet agreed objectives.
What We Offer
You need to be eligible to work in the UK to be considered for this role. We are committed to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults and therefore any successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check for children and will be asked to provide two satisfactory references.
As a UNICEF Gold Rights Respecting organisation we are committed to ensuring that the United Nations Convention for the Rights of the Child is embedded into both culture and practice within the organisation. As an employee you will be a Duty Bearer for Children’s Rights and support all children to be Rights Holders.
