We are now looking for a Deputy Shop Manager to support the Shop Manager in our Fox & Goose, Washwood Heath shop, in leading a team of volunteers and achieving set targets.  You’ll work 15 hours per week, including some weekend working.

About the Role

As Deputy Shop Manager, you'll support the shop manager with the day-to-day running of the shop.  You'll greet customers as they come in, sort through donated stock and make decisions about pricing on items for sale.  You'll get involved in making decisions to drive your business within the community, to encourage volunteer and donor support, and act as an entrepreneur to maximise every sales opportunity available.

You’ll work with the Shop Manager, discussing sales reports from the EPOS system, analyse and make decisions based on the data and trends these reports show.  You’ll provide inspired leadership and motivation for a team of volunteers creating rotas to ensure that the shop floor is always covered.  When your shop manager is off, you'll be responsible for opening and closing the shop and be the responsible manager on the day.
